Corrugated board has five common sizes of fluting, ‘A’, ‘B’,’C’, ‘E’ and ‘F’. The letter designation refers to the order they were invented, not their relative size.
A= 5mm flutingC = 4mm flutingB = 3mm flutingE = 2mm flutingF = 1mm fluting
Double wall cartons can use combinations of flute sizes.
Using a simple short description that defines the board grade of a box. For example: 125K/B/125T.
125K = Outer Paper Liner (125K Kraft Lining)B = Inner Fluting (B Fluting)125T = Inner Paper Lining (125 Test Lining)
